It is time to start our second season of The Bead People Lincoln Chapter and we are hoping for at least twice the success. Our off season has been interesting, just a birthday party here and there and lots of discussions and planning for the new season, but I think we are finally ready. Excitement is building for the first event coming up “The Mother of All Garage Sales” at the Lancaster County Event Center on March 28th and in many ways our first event of the year is very nostalgic as it was at a health fair in the same building that Lynette and I decided to make this happen. We have come a long way since then, and we still have so far to go.
I will try to write more often, especially when we have new events or special happenings take place that I would like to document. Maybe in 10 years when we are sitting in our Bead People store writing checks and donations to local chairties and entertaining children in our after school program… we can read back on all of our moments and be proud for sure.
